Waste Management Consultancy

With the ever changing waste management market, then often advice is required for current market trends, research on landfill void space, recycling capacity, rentals and lease construction, impacts by landfill levies and a range of other issues.

There are a number of buying opportunities available within the waste management market at present, but over capacity of recycling operations, and lack of regulation on smaller skip companies entering the market, has added to the woes, in addition to new sites achieving development approval.

WSN has been up for sale again, but no news of how the sale is to be dealt with. No doubt any private buyers of WSN would require local council contracts to accompany any acquisitions, and there is much uncertainty as to whether any sale includes the current AWT and proposed AWT's, which could add considerable risk for any acquiror.

Within the Sydney market the recent granting of development approval for the Eastern Creek landfill has significantly added to the amount of available void space for C & D landfills within the region, and could cause a price war as existing operators compete for market share.

We can assist with a variety of issues involving waste management assets, so give us a call.
